Terms of use

These terms apply when you use birdiegolf-jo.com, create an account, book, message us on WhatsApp or visit Birdie. Payments, cancellations and refunds have their own page.

Your account

You must be 18 or over to create an account, book or pay; a parent or guardian books for anyone younger. You sign in with a code sent to your email or WhatsApp, or with Google. Keep your details correct, keep your sign-in codes private and don't share your account; you are responsible for bookings made from it.

Bookings

• A booking is confirmed when it shows as confirmed in your account or in our message. A booking paid online is confirmed only once the payment goes through.
• Your time starts at the booked time. Arriving late doesn't extend it when the simulator is booked after you.
• The number of players a simulator takes is shown on the booking page.
• We may move or cancel a booking if a simulator is out of order or for reasons outside our control. If we do, we offer you another time or refund what you paid.

At the venue

• Follow the staff's safety instructions. Only one player swings in the hitting area at a time; everyone else stays behind the line.
• Children under 12 must be with an adult at all times.
• Please use the equipment with care. You may be asked to pay for damage caused on purpose or by careless use.
• Alcohol is served only to guests aged 18 or over, and we may ask for ID.
• We may refuse service or ask a guest to leave for unsafe or abusive behaviour.

Lessons

Lessons are given by our golf professionals on the simulators. Each lesson package lists what it includes and how long it is valid.

Leagues and scores

• Scores sent on WhatsApp are checked by staff before they count, and we may correct or reject a score.
• Send only your own score, or the scores of other players on the card who agree to it.
• Approved scores appear on our public tables and venue screens with first name and last initial (see our Privacy policy).
• Each league's rules, rounds and prizes are announced for that league.

Messages

Our WhatsApp number is answered by an automated assistant and by our team. By booking with us you agree to receive service messages about your bookings, payments, memberships and scores by WhatsApp, SMS or email. We send marketing messages only if you agree to them.

Content

The Birdie name, logo, photos and website content belong to Birdie. Course names and images on the simulators belong to aboutGOLF and their owners. The website software is provided by Flexrz.

Liability

Golf involves swinging clubs and moving balls, so please play with care. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, for the website being unavailable, or for the acts of payment providers. Nothing here limits liability that Jordanian law does not allow to be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and disputes go to the competent courts in Amman.

Changes

We may update these terms. Changes take effect when they are posted here, and the date at the top shows the current version.
